Wisniewski Receives NC Nursery and Landscape Association Scholarship

The group evolved into an association representing green industry firms in the Midwest. Kansas City, MO, October 14, — As you know this historic global pandemic has created numerous challenges and great sadness for many. WNLA cannot confidently hold a safe event for you, our exhibitors, partners, and supporters and the safety and health of our colleagues and friends are and always will be our primary concern. The annual Western is the main source of income for the Association and without the income of the Western, the Board has determined that the non-profit association cannot be sustained. AmericanHort will offer community, membership, and recognition of the WNLA legacy in the following ways:. We are saddened that we will not gather for another Western in Kansas City but the legacy of WNLA can live on if our members and supporters are active in a WNLA community inside AmericanHort, our national association who has done so much for our industry this year and in many years past. As usual, we have two speaker tracks, Design and Profit , in order to meet the diverse interests of the green industry in West Virginia. Marty is a leading voice on green industry leadership, sales, and company culture. He will lead Profit track participants throughout the day. Rick is a broadly knowledgeable field botanist, horticulturist, and photographer. He will present the morning session of the Design track.

Following the announcement of canceling The SNA Conference scheduled for February, the Southern Nursery Association SNA has announced that in a unanimous vote the board of directors has made the difficult decision to cease operation of the yr. Since the conference is the main source of income and with declining membership, the board determined that the association cannot be sustained. The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Fund, created in by the Southern Nursery Association SNA , has announced the names of twelve students from nine southeastern universities chosen to receive academic scholarships this year.
